Dear Students and Visitors…

Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, which was established on May 15, 1996 and took its first students in 1996-1997 academic year, carries on education with 3 full professors, 4 associate professors and 6 assistant professors. About 60 students are admitted to the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Undergraduate Program every year and the normal education period of the program is 4 years.

The curriculum of our continuously renewed department covers a wide range of topics from traditional Extractive Metallurgy to Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology. In addition, the courses in the social, technical and design elective groups in the program have been selected to train Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Students who can constantly renew themselves under changing conditions. There is an opportunity to make double major and minor programs for our students and in the context of Erasmus program they can pursue some of their education abroad.

Our students have also the opportunity to get MS and PhD degrees at both Interdisciplinary Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Graduate Programs.

While I wish our current students great success in the new academic year, I invite all the talented students who wish to become engineer to our department in Eskişehir, one of the most beautiful cities of Central Anatolia.

Best regards...

Prof.Dr. Mustafa ANIK
